Hiring: Assistant Administrator
The RM of Oakdale No. 320 and the Village of Coleville are situated in the heart of West-Central Saskatchewan and serve strong agricultural and energy-based rural communities.
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Administrator to join our joint municipal office. Reporting to the Administrator, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Administrator, Council, and other municipal departments while contributing to the efficient day-to-day operation of the office.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
– Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
– Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Experience with MuniSoft municipal software is considered a strong asset.
– Excellent information technology aptitude with a willingness to learn new software and systems.
– Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy, public-facing environment.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively with Council, staff, and members of the public.
– A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and municipal bylaws.
– Familiarity with the oilfield and agricultural industries is considered an asset.
– A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required.
